As of the third week of June, we are waiting for paving to start on our new runways and the access road.
At this point the wet weather we've been having is delaying the operation. Once the paving is done, then
the last of the topsoil will be spread and the gravel parking area will be laid down. Then the property will be seeded for
grass. All in all, probably not more than two weeks work.
The runway layout has been finalized and will conform to the new design we proposed. We are still trying
to work out the permit system with the Town of North Hempstead. Hopefully this will be in place before the work is done. All
things considered, we should be in operation soon.
